Changes that count
For centuries, people have been altering their bodies through different means to achieve a certain look. Whether it is to increase beauty, fitness, or change gender, this same pursuit can be observed worldwide, and even more so in a wealthy nation like America.
My Bride is not ready…
I have been inspired to write this story to expose the state of The Church. It is told from the perspective of Jesus the Groom, lamenting the rotten behavior of His beloved Bride. Listen… “When I met my Bride for the first time, she was a woman of godly character. Her name was Deborah like that strong woman-judge in the Bible, loving God, and full of faith. She was wearing a beautiful, spotless white dress. I loved her deeply and she too, had eyes only for me. So, a wedding plan was prepared. But then my Father called me to the other side of the world to expand our Family Company and at the same time, I would build a mansion there for my Bride and me.
The Base Model Christian
Recently my husband and I were driving on the street and while we were waiting at a red light, I noticed a certain car next to us. I asked him about it, and he replied that it was just a base model car and wasn’t as good as the regular one. At that moment, it occurred to me that this same concept of models applies to Christians depending on their relationship with God. For more clarity in the comparison, I did a little research for this post.
“Wrong way” Signs
On Sunday, October 20th, 2024, my family and I were returning home from Church. Suddenly, my husband noticed something none of us had ever seen before in that particular area. On the opposite side of the road, many visible red traffic signs displayed these words: “Wrong Way”, or “Do Not Enter”. The Traffic Department had placed them on some parts of the road, to warn people not to go in that direction. They are supposed to stop inattentive or lost drivers from going forward and instead turn around to avoid a fatal crash with oncoming traffic.
Judgment against St Pete, Florida
It is over a year since I received a message concerning St Pete in Florida. In this dream, I found myself in an open space as if I were dropped there. I was barefoot and I could feel the damp sand under my toes. I quickly scanned the place without moving. There was nothing or anyone in sight, just the white sand all over the ground. I couldn’t see the ocean, but I knew it must not be far from my location. While standing there, I heard a man's voice behind me, though I was alone. He only said: “That WAS St Pete”. Then I woke up.
Favor of God in the Wilderness…
In the Old Testament, after Moses led the people of Israel out of Egypt, they dwelled in the wilderness for forty (40) years. The Lord provided food for them, covered them with a pillar of cloud during the day, and gave them light and warmth with a pillar of fire at night. You probably knew all this, but did you know that the Lord caused their clothes to remain intact and not wear out since they left Egypt? Not only their clothes but their shoes -aka sandals- stayed in good shape for the 40 years of wandering and traveling in the desert.
